Samsung Galaxy S10 plus
The Samsung galaxy s10 plus prices are coming down a bit but on release it it was Samsung most expensive phone to date. Its got a stunning Infinity-O 6.4-inch screen that uses Samsung’s “Dynamic AMOLED” display technology. It’s the first screen to be HDR10+ certified, that has sharper details with incredible color. The resolution can run up to wide QHD+ (3,040 x 1,440) resolution at 522 ppi but by default the screen is set to Full HD+. It has a 93.1% screen to body ratio and a fingerprint sensor on the front screen.
The S10 plus has a triple lens rear camera set up with a 12MP telephoto lens and a 16MP ultra wide lens and while it takes beautiful clear crisp photos and is one of the best cameras on a phone today it doesn’t quite match the brilliant zoom camera on the hauwei p30 pro, The front selfie cameras are great too with the 10MP and an 8MP camera for enhancing depth and focus of portrait photos.
The video records in HDR10+ which is basically Ultra HD and thanks to its digital stabilization technology it takes some really clear steady videos. Even with its big screen and high resolution photos and videos the phone will still easily run all day and more thanks to a decent size 4100 mAH battery. It also has wireless reverse charging which means not only can it be charged wireless but it will turn your phone into a wireless charger too and you can share power with a friend if their phone battery is getting low.
The galaxy S10 Plus starts with 8gb of RAM and 128gb of storage right up to 12gb RAM and a massive 1TB of built in storage and in case that is not enough the top model can be combined with a 512gb Micro SD card.
It has also got a face unlock which can be faster than the fingerprint scanner. The phone is very fast a responsive with its Exynos 9820 chip or the US version that has the Snapdragon 855 chip.
The S10 has good quality sound too with AKG tuned speakers and support for Dolby Atmos. Samsung have opted to keep the headphone jack missing from so many new phones today and still managed to keep it waterproof with an IP68 rating. Overall I would recommend the S10 PLUS when first released I would have thought it was too expensive to compete with other flagships like the hauwei p30 pro or the One plus 7 pro but prices have fallen since it was released making it much more competitive.
